Layered Iced Matcha Latte with Vanilla

Matcha latté glacé étagé à la Vanille

You'll need:

  • 2 matcha spoons of plain or vanilla-flavored matcha (4-6g)
  • 150 ml hot water (70 degrees Celsius)
  • 150 ml of animal or vegetable milk
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  

Mix the matcha with hot water and whisk (ideally with a whisk or bamboo whisk). Add ice cubes and stir. Froth the cold milk by adding the sugar and vanilla. Add 60 ml of unfoamed milk to the matcha, stir.

Add the frothed milk without stirring and enjoy!
