What are natural vs artificial flavors?
At Mystea, we exclusively have teas and herbal teas containing natural flavors! These come from an extract of the real fruit or the real plant. The artificial flavors are created entirely from chemical compounds.

Can we give tea to children?
It is not recommended to give tea to children under 4 years old. After this age, you can give it to them. Refer to the caffeine charter. However, at Mystea we have a host of caffeine-free herbal teas perfect for children!
What is contraindicated for pregnant women?
Several herbal teas are not recommended for pregnant women (e.g. chamomile). The amount of caffeine should also be monitored. However, at Mystea,
we have plenty of teas and herbal teas that pregnant women can consume. Contact us for more information on this topic.
How many cups do you make with 50g?
Between 20 and 25 cups. One cup should use about 2g of tea or herbal tea
How long does loose tea/herbal tea last in the bag?
6 months to 1 year. It is best to keep tea and herbal tea leaves in the dark, in an airtight container and away from humidity!
How long does tea or herbal tea last once infused?
When unaltered, teas or herbal teas can be kept for 2 days in the refrigerator. When you make our iced tea/herbal tea recipe with sugar and lemon juice, it will keep for 1 month in the refrigerator!
What does “2-3 infusions” mean in the preparation instructions?
With teas, you have the possibility of infusing your leaves several times in the same 24 hours. Make sure that between infusions your leaves do not stay in water or dry out completely. (Ex: leave them in an infuser with a lid)
What is Matcha?
This is a green tea which has gone through a very specific process to be powdered and which must be diluted in water or milk. It also mixes
perfectly in your smoothies! It is a powerful antioxidant, much more so than leaf green tea.
What is Rooibos?
Rooibos (also known as red tea) is actually an herbal tea and not a tea. It is a relaxing and antioxidant South African plant.
Is there sugar in your products?
There is no sugar in all loose teas and herbal teas, with the exception of the organic flavored matcha range and hot chocolates. Our ready-to-drink products, fusion bubbles, and our take-out counter products contain them.

Are there dairy products in your products?
No. None of our products contain it. However, it is possible to order a beverage at the counter with regular milk.
Is there gluten in your products?
No. None of the products we have contain them.
Are there nuts in your products?
No. We are a nut free store.
What is the caffeine content of teas and herbal teas?
White tea contains about 25% of the caffeine of coffee.
Green tea contains about 33% of the caffeine of coffee.
Oolong tea contains about 40% of the caffeine of coffee
Black tea contains about 50% of the caffeine of coffee
Matcha tea contains about the same amount of caffeine as coffee.
Rooibos does not contain caffeine.
Herbal teas do not contain caffeine, except those containing
Mate. These are almost as energizing as coffee.
What is the difference between teas and herbal teas?
The teas come all from the same plant; the Camelia Sinensis. Picking processes,
oxidation, drying and aromatization will give the different teas that we
know.
Herbal teas, for their part, are any other plant, root, fruit,
etc. that we infuse and which do not come from Camelia Sinensis
