Labrador tea
Labrador tea (Ledum groenlandicum) is a plant that grows primarily in the northern regions of North America, including Canada, Alaska, and parts of the United States. It is often found in damp areas, such as bogs and swamps. The indigenous people of North America have traditionally used Labrador tea for medicinal purposes. The leaves were brewed to create a beverage that was often consumed for its purported properties against colds, flu and other ailments. When used to prepare an infusion, Labrador tea can have a distinctive aroma, usually described like resinous, herbaceous and slightly floral. The taste can be robust, with earthy notes
